“Laika, du meine Laika”LAIKA, the first living creature ever sent into space by the Russians as a stray dog in Gorki Park in 1957, is revived in Oldenburg. The Forum Neue Kunst has secured the rights to the successful, eponymous opera by British composer Russel Hepplewhite and will present the touching story of LAIKA as a German premiere at the end of August – in an unusual location: the start-up and innovation centre ZUKUNFT.unternehmen in Donnerschwee.
