HECTOR SIEN REIS OR DE SÖÖK NA’T GLÜCK – HECTORS REISE ODER DIE SUCHE NACH DEM GLÜCK

“Happiness is when we think of the happiness of the people we love.”

– Hector

The novel by Francois Lelord has since conquered the whole world and was released in cinemas in 2014. Now Hector’s journey has its world premiere in the style of a road movie on the stage of the Oldenburg State Theatre.

In his psychiatric practice, Hector comes into daily contact with people who report worries, fears and unhappiness. Hector wants to help them find happiness and happiness. But how does that work: to be happy? Driven by an explorer’s spirit, Hector embarks on a journey of adventure, often involving nothing less than humanity’s big questions of life and death.

The encounters with people of different nations, peoples and cultures are full of surprises and deeply affect him. Astonished, Hector rediscovers the value of life and finally finds himself and his great love.
